One day after Quarter Back Tom Brady was photographed with an cast on his foot, a league source now reports that Brady has a high right ankle sprain. This explains why he was wearing a boot during Monday's visit to New York.
The sprain, which is minor, will not jeopardize Brady’s chances of playing in Super Bowl XLII, the source said. The Boston Herald was first to report the story today.
Brady did stress that the problem was minor, he would be having treatment for it, and he would be ready for the Super Bowl. This should alleviate some fears for Patriots fans.
Since the initial photographs were taken, the Pats quarterback has shed the removable cast.
