The NFL scheduling formula can create some odd situations, but this one seems downright illogical and unfair: the New England Patriots, a perfect 16-0 in the 2007 regular season, will play the league's easiest schedule this season. This year's opponents had a combined 99-157 (.387 winning percentage) record last year. Meanwhile, the up-and-coming Cleveland Browns, who could be the first NFL team ever to make five prime-time appearances in a season after missing the playoffs the previous year, will play opponents with a combined 142-114 record (.539 winning percentage) last season. -- Rochester Democrat & Chronicle
Let's remember that the Dolphins were 1-15 last year.
