The Patriots announced the signing of Hawaii long snapper Jake Ingram, one of their two sixth-round draft choices. Ingram (6-3, 235) began his college career as a walk-on defensive end in 2005 before making the move to a long snapper. Only draft pick not to sign yet is linebacker Tyrone McKenzie (third round).
Safety Antwain Spann, who was released by the Patriots on Monday, is scheduled to work out for the Buffalo Bills on Friday.
The team announced the release of rookie defensive back Jamar Love, who had signed as a free agent out of Arkansas on April 30, 2009. The Patriots also announced that they have signed DB Herana-Daze Jones, and released OL Jermail Porter.
