Kevin Garnett waives no-trade clause, headed to Nets with Paul Pierce - An NBA source confirmed that Kevin Garnett has waived his no-trade clause, clearing the way for a blockbuster trade that would send Garnett, Paul Pierce and Jason Terry to the Brooklyn Nets for Kris Humphries, Gerald Wallace, Keith Bogans, and three first-round picks. This deal officially marks the end of the Big Three Era and the beginning of the Celtics rebuilding plan as the organization parts ways with two of the most popular players in team history.
