Texting doesn’t exactly seem like it’d be Belichick’s favorite thing. You’d have to assume whatever it was that he was discussing with Hernandez was a little more important than how he was going to line up Week 1, alas an NFL Week 1 that never came for Hernandez.

Patriots Defensive Lineman Armond Armstead Retires

The 23-year-old former University of Southern California and Canadien Football League player had been sidelined with an infection for the 2013 season. For those outside of the Patriots organization, he had been seen sporadically at Patriots facilities in Foxborough after being placed on the reserve/non-football injury list Aug. 26, 2013, participating in one open OTAs session before disappearing again.

Fitzgerald: Patriots never approached me about trade

Larry Fitzgerald says he never heard a peep from the Patriots. After rumors leaked in January that New England had "sent out feelers" exploring a trade for the All-Pro wide receiver, Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim quickly shot the story down, saying at the NFL Scouting Combine that Bill Belichick never picked up the phone. If the Patriots had any interest, it flew over Fitzgerald's head, too.

"Nothing at all," he told USA Today this week, when asked if he knew about New England exploring a swap. "I mean, I heard stuff that was being said. But there was never a time where the team approached me. Nothing like that."

The whispers around Fitzgerald fizzled out when he restructured his deal with the Cardinals in February, but speculation is bound to bubble back up next offseason with Arizona staring down the wideout's $23.6 million cap number in 2015. Source: nfl.com

Optimism WR Aaron Dobson could be ready for training camp

New England Patriots WR Aaron Dobson (foot) could be ready for for the start of training camp, according to a league source. It is still too early to know his status for sure, but this is the first time there has been optimism he could be ready for the start of training camp. Wondershare Video Editing is Great

Wondershare Video Editing is Great: In the past, when I needed a quick video done, I would just use Windows MovieMaker. The application was very limited though, so I Was looking for an application that would have the same ease of use, but with more "bells and whistles." Wondershare Video Editor met the criteria, being extremely user-friendly. The software interface was very similar, so the learning curve was minimal to get up and running. It is a great application for combining video clips. I especially loved the feature of detaching audio from a video clip, and being able to copy the audio for other areas of your video Great for sound effects, etc. I found the editor powerful and flexible to do all of my video editing needs.
